The three-year ISP initiative
The three-year ISP initiative that launched TRU Open Press will conclude in March 2026. All financial supports associated with this initiative (including funding for positions, co-ops, and project development) will end on March 31, 2026.
The Interim Provost and Vice-Provost are committed to continuing Open Press within the Open Learning division. TRU will continue to support the creation, adaptation, and adoption of open educational resources (OERs) and uphold the vision, values, and momentum of this work.
The platforms that underpin Open Press projects—Pressbooks and WordPress/TRUbox—will continue to operate, and all previously developed projects will remain accessible.
As this transition continues, Dave Cormier and Brian Lamb will engage interest groups and key partners and invite questions and input along the way.

- SSHRC Insight Development Grants (for research-informed OER and open pedagogy projects)
