Description: This project expands the existing CEL Resume Catalogue OER, a resource already used widely in COOP 1000 Career Management courses and by coordinators supporting students across disciplines. While many online resume tools exist, few address the specific needs of work-integrated learning (WIL) programs such as co-op, apprenticeships, and practicums. Employers consistently emphasize the need for tailored, authentic application documents, making an updated, sector-specific, educationally grounded resource essential. The next phase of the project focuses on enhancing relevance, accessibility, and interactivity. Planned updates include new sector-specific resumes, expanded tools for cover letters and interviewing, student-tested improvements to layout and usability, and new interactive learning features such as H5P activities, quizzes, flashcards, and skill-assessment tools. Additional multimedia—such as audio hot spots, narrated resume walkthroughs, and lightboard videos—will help instructors demonstrate effective document tailoring. Together, these improvements aim to create a more engaging, accessible, and effective resource for students preparing for WIL opportunities across TRU.
