Description: The Labour Relations in Canada OER has been a true labor of love, developed in tandem with its use in HRMN 3840 and HRMN 3841 courses. The developer has crafted chapters directly for her classes, incorporating student feedback to refine the resource. Some chapters include original content, while others draw from articles and quality OERs like Rise of a Working Class from Canadian History: Post-Confederation by John Douglas Belshaw, ensuring a solid foundation of scholarly material. This dynamic and accessible textbook integrates features like a comprehensive glossary and embedded videos to make the content engaging and relevant. Covering key aspects of labour relations, it serves as a practical and valuable tool for students. Through beta testing in live courses, the OER is continuously improved, maintaining a focus on being student-centered and pedagogically effective.
