Description: Future Earth: A Student Journal for Sustainability and Environment is an exciting project that TRU Open Press is thrilled to support! Partnering with Peter Tsigaris, and with help from Erin May at the TRU Library/BC ELN, we’ve built the journal’s home on the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform. We’re also offering hands-on training for stakeholders to manage submissions and editorial workflows. Once those brilliant student articles start rolling in, our team will jump into action with copy editing, production editing, and creating polished HTML and PDF versions of the articles and issues. We’ll keep things running smoothly behind the scenes, too. The first issue is set to launch in January 2025, with new editions coming twice a year: January/ February and July/ August. This journal gives students a dynamic platform to dive into sustainability discussions across a variety of fields!
